Penalty Risk Check

Paste a URL. Get a single-page audit for the nine signals Google's Scaled Content Abuse, Site Reputation Abuse, and Helpful Content System enforcement actually look at in 2026.

Audits one page at a time, server-side. Takes 5–12 seconds. Results aren't stored.

How to read this

The audit runs nine checks against a single page. Each returns pass, warn, or fail. The overall verdict is low / medium / high risk based on how many fails and warns you accumulate.

  • Two or more fails on the same page is the content-farm pattern. Fix those first.
  • Three random recent pages from the same site all scoring medium or worse is the site-wide demotion risk profile. That's the time to rebuild your editorial process, not just the pages.
  • The AI footprint check is low-confidence by design.Google doesn't penalize style — it penalizes the underlying quality patterns. Use it as a tiebreaker, not a primary signal.

What this tool doesn't check yet: cross-page structural similarity (the strongest signal of a content farm), publishing velocity, and original-asset provenance. Those need a sitemap-wide audit, which is the v1 upgrade on the roadmap.
